Great gameplay vid... All of the weapons have their uses, the only one I haven't discovered the trick for yet is the Tonfa. Anybody have any insight on it?

@adambeattie I've got tons of "insight" but no capture card. Trust me when i tell you the tonfa are thee best weapon in the game period. If you really want to combat the "cheapness" of this game learn to use them. Add me on XBOX and you can see my videos that way if you want.

actually if you use a essence orb to pull off an ultimate technique then the monster(s) you killed with it give double the essence they normally would, it's explained in the first NG and it is in the second game. Anyways, the Kasuri-gama is an excellent weapon to use when you know what you're doing. It's AOE is better than any other weapon

If you use yellow essence to do an ultimate technique, the 2 essence you absorb make the yellow essence from the fiends you slay during the ultimate technique times by 2 each essence. Multipule essence for the ultimate technique do not count.

Ex: If you absorb 2 essence to kill 1 enemy in an ultimate technique, they drop 300 yellow essence, then 2 absorbed essence times 2 each is 4, 4x300 is 1200. Any essence you absorb for the UT past 2 do not count.

uhm i think you mean: if you drain orbs to get super move, you dont get money, but the move charges alot faster.

But you can get ultimate move via holding Y but it takes longer, upside is that you get money.

lol, for everyone who's interested in the kusarigama, in actualliy, the kusarigama was never swung around the chain with the blade being swung. if that happened, it would have a large chance of just bouncing off the opponent instaed of cutting them

Most of the weapons in the game wouldn't be used like hayabusa really.

The tonfa especially, if you span and flipped them like ryu does you'd probably just drop them.

p.s. the Kama on the Kusarigama was for finishing off opponents at close range if it were spun like that the Kama would rotate because it isn't aerodynamic.

It's cause of the ridiculous time before and after attacking where you are vulnerable, I really tried to like this weapon to, but I didn't find it able to do anything the dragon sword couldn't.

But stick with it and kill that boss, HIS weapon is the most fun in the game.

Also i cannot tell if he is useing the weapon right it look as as if he is swinging it by the chain when in life your suposed to swing the chain at your foes weopon or other body parts. eh good vid though

Bah, I realize it's just a game but I wish they would have used some real techniques with the kusarigama. Rarely if ever would you see people swinging the actual blade, except in the Houten Ryu discipline.

I wanted some real kusarigama videos! Haha.

Ninja Gaiden does kick ass though. AFI unfortunately doesn't, haha.
