  • Is the whole film on here, I kinda want to see Paul Douglas and Barbara Stanwyck as well.

  • this is the one film that puts the no school actor and the modern school actor on the screen

marylin was the only modern actor on the set, and Stanwick was never worse. everyone will say that for her time Stanwick was good, but there were plenty of no school actors then who knew that naturalism and no mugging was important.

  • I have to admit I wish they'd given Marilyn more screen time in this film, she tended to have small parts in many of her films, this is one of her larger parts, there are only a few examples of her acting rather than playing the ditzy blonde, but I guess she's to blame for this too, afterall she did not have to take those kinds of parts.

  • @Dazman1313

the "dtizy" blonde was a character she created.

on the page as written, the characters were actually vulgar and demeaning. it takes an artist to make something more of cheap enterteinment and marilyn did that. she made a sexist creation into a sweet and empathetic human being with real wit.

    cheap writers can't do that.

  • @MissGarland18 Yes!!! so true!!

  • hahaha.. loved the punch!! I reckon she did it on purpose... hahahaha.. YOU GO GIRL!

  • @lucostactba Hey Lu! i love seeing marilyn in jeans.
