I don't know why, I just can't seem to get into these guys. Listened to Hymn to the Immortal Wind, and it got so much praise, I felt a bit underwhelmed by it. Guess it proves that to much hype is a bad thing, I expected too much from them. Shame really, it's a classic case of I would like to like it, but just don't.
Isnt it increadible? I could never directly communicate with thes guys becasue of the language barrier, but i understand their message perfectly. The power of music.
Saw them in 2009 in New York when they played with an orchestra. The venue had a more classical concert hall feel, can't put it into words how amazing that experience was.

@CamilleDeveveraux : t'es en rien original à "pourfendre" ceux qui "mettent dans les tiroirs". La vie est ainsi faite, pour pas perdre tes slips tu les mets dans un tiroir différent de la où tu range tes fourchettes. C'est utile les tiroirs. Pour moi Mono n'a rien à voir avec d'autres groupes de post-rock et quand je veux quelque chose qui s'en rapproche je sais dans quel tiroir chercher. Les guignols sont ceux qui se croient originaux ds leur critique du monde, dans leur prétendue tolérance
j'aime pas trop écouter de la musique sans chanteur! mais MONO je les adores et j'ai télécharger leur albums! cette musique est trop emotionnel! feel like crying
