Manual shift on automatic cars sucks IMO. The computer takes too long to decide when to shift after you pushed on the shifter. So far almost every car I've driven with manual shift on an auto, does not compare to the quick response of a manual tranny.
@steveeeeboi i half agree, there's a good bit of lag on the "semi-auto" systems, but it's a nice compromise if you dont want to have to deal with driving stick all the time.
But yea, i could still go for some faster gear changes in the semi-auto systems
It is nice to have a manual mode, but the problem for me is the gear ratios are almost never the same to the MT counterpart. I drive an 04 TL auto and its only 5 speed vs the MT version which is 6 speed. Also I occasionally drive my friends k swap integra with a short throw and the gear changes are ridiculously fast.

Weight makes a huge difference between those cars and the GSR only had the edge because it is much lighter. Even with 2 ppl in the car I still don't think it comes close to the TSX weight. The B16 is more durable becuase it has THICKER cylinder walls, smaller pistons, different stroke different deck height, everything, its not about 1.8l vs 1.6, the 1.6 is better and can put out more power and get away with it then the 1.8l vtec can, the walls are thicker per displacment ratio. A lot of people forget that HP is for bragging and torque is what gets you down the road. You can have a 300hp car and only 120lb ft of torque and it's going to get beat by a car with 200 hp and 200lb ft of torque.
These are both 4-cylinder engines dude, not an abundance of torque. To say the weight of an average person, say 75kg won't affect a car without a lot of torque is stupid.
Doesn't matter how powerful or fast a car is, add 75kg to it and it will slow down. That effect is just amplified in 4-cylinders without alot of torque.
GS-R DC's are all VTEC unless their swapped or the oil pressure is too low to engage. That race seemed pretty typical, my GS-R was pretty quick but the TSX has alot more displacement and torque backing it up compared to the stock GS-R with around 140whp or so (the 170hp rating is at the FLYWHEEL, so no dogging). Atleast the GS-R won, I've seen a boosted TSX that kills.
You guys aren't paying attention to the details. The GS-R has 2 extra people (3 people in total), in a car that has less then 120 torque. The TSX Has only one extra person (2 including the driver), and from an engineering stand point, a far superior engine.
hmm... i didnt see any back people lol also tsx too. we dont know how many people in there but by the first judgment is there are 2 people in tsx and 2 in gsr. my Integra Si-vtec (GSR JDM) would split that Accord (TSX) hard lol. Mine has 200HP lol...
i think the GSR engine is fucked.. the owner should of tuning it up and change the engine oil every 5000km also use atleast 95octane (Lowest) to bring out the beast within. Im using 98 octane and i do 0-100 in 6.1s :D

The TSX has no low end torque. I raced my friend's TSX in my '95 accord.(both cars were stock). I got pretty far ahead of it before it picked up speed and smoked me.
the GSR isnt slow, the TSX is actually quick... the TSX may be heavy YES, but it has a 4.7 final Drive (if its a 6 speed) so acceleration is a breeze, plus with 200 HP and 164 Trq, why not hold up with a GSR... and BTW i have a TSX
tsx's with the proper tuning and lightened body it could take on a gsr. tsx has a far greater potential in the k24 cuz its bigger. well stock the tsx would lose cuz it is a luxury car so its a bit heavy

The TSX doesnt even need a body kit to look nice. Whenever I drive it, it turns heads pretty often. As for Integras, people dont really give them much thought.

TSX has 205bhp and GSR has 170bhp but less weight and more rpm plus intake n exhaust, so the GSR has around 185bhp pulling the little car.

You guys aren't paying attention to the details. The GS-R has 2 extra people (3 people in total), in a car that has less then 120 torque. The TSX Has only one extra person (2 including the driver), and from an engineering stand point, a far superior engine.

hmm... i didnt see any back people lol also tsx too. we dont know how many people in there but by the first judgment is there are 2 people in tsx and 2 in gsr. my Integra Si-vtec (GSR JDM) would split that Accord (TSX) hard lol. Mine has 200HP lol...

i think the GSR engine is fucked.. the owner should of tuning it up and change the engine oil every 5000km also use atleast 95octane (Lowest) to bring out the beast within. Im using 98 octane and i do 0-100 in 6.1s :D

The TSX has no low end torque. I raced my friend's TSX in my '95 accord.(both cars were stock). I got pretty far ahead of it before it picked up speed and smoked me.

the GSR isnt slow, the TSX is actually quick... the TSX may be heavy YES, but it has a 4.7 final Drive (if its a 6 speed) so acceleration is a breeze, plus with 200 HP and 164 Trq, why not hold up with a GSR... and BTW i have a TSX

tsx's with the proper tuning and lightened body it could take on a gsr. tsx has a far greater potential in the k24 cuz its bigger. well stock the tsx would lose cuz it is a luxury car so its a bit heavy

Not really.. Lol... TSX is a very nice looking car, I ought to know, we own one along with my RSX. To Be Honest , I wanted a TSX but it was going to cost a bit too much. Integras are nice cars, but they are a bit dated now, and the TSX reflects the new style they have.

Yes, people do have opinions, and I chose to express my own. I'd take a TSX over an Integra any day.
The TSX doesnt even need a body kit to look nice. Whenever I drive it, it turns heads pretty often. As for Integras, people dont really give them much thought.

fyi, my friends car was auto. i also have friend who has a 6 speed tsx and i driven it b4. i still think a gsr will over take it, at least a stock one. short run, like a 1/4mi, a gsr will win, but the tsx will own in the long run,
