Saw Norman perform at a smooth jazz concert in Fresno, California back in 2005 at an outdoor amphitheater, he was one of the headlining performers along with Chris Bodie, Kim Waters and several other performers and it was a purely magical evening...what a shame that live performances such as this are no longer held in this area. Thank you for uploading the music.
It is an issue that never forget... magnificent... romantic in every sense of the word... takes very seriously the interpretation... is the icon of my heart.... beautiful America... beautiful... beautiful women love...
Thank you for posting...very nice. I live in Texas and can't help but notice the rig...I didn't think there was offshore drilling off of CA...also, I love seeing the fog in the distance. Thanks again.
I went to see Norman brown last night at Yoshi's in Oakland Ca and he did'nt do this song, loved the show but, this was the song I wanted to hear live. I'll have to continue to go to see him if i want to hear this song live.
I love this song, I downloaded the album on iTunes like 2 years ago... good song for relaxing, or sit on the couch with candles lit and your woman with arms around you, getting the night started
Fantastic musical interpretation, welcome Smooth Jazz, it's great Norman Brown, inspired me a lot with this issue, gives me good memories of my vacation in North America, a very sentimental.
Been a fan since 1994. I saw him in Concert here on Okinawa in 2004. Such a great artist. At the time, his daughter was attending the Naval Academy. He loves us Marines. :-) Keep on playin brotha. Semper Fi.
So fluid a track. First time i heard this was when I was cleaning house while napster was on a jazz station. I FROZE.. ran to the computer.. and just sat there listening. Ever since then, years ago, it's been my "cruisin' with the sunroof open, car just washed and waxed, Im lovin' life and this song" kinda tune. I love it. Especially the background instruments. He kills it at 4:47 - 4:53. Just perfect music from begining to end.
Love this song sooooo much. I recall the first time I heard it. I was walking down the magnificent mile/michigan avenue in Chicago and it was playing over external speakers at the Sears tower. I just had to stop and listen to the rest of the song. The song will always hold a special place in my heart. Thanks!
Finally Somebody Posted This And I Can Say This Sun, You Definitely Had The Perfect Scnenery For This Song. Definitely An Open Air Kind Of Cool Groove To Just Ride To And Relax. Great Tune...
I couldn't go to his concert today here in Hampton Roads, VA. (Sniff, sniff, very sad, not feeling well). Thanks so much for this post..its at my favorite place...the ocean.
