I saw these guys in concert in about 1971 I think, and they played this. Always been into synth music since--Tangerine Dream is the best band in the world, of any genre.
Was this not 1971? I've read that from various other sources (for Popcorn at least), but the album might have been compiled a bit later. Great stuff, your record looks brand new- wish I looked after records that well! Thanks for posting
Also, one time we slowed the record way down and found that the "squeaker toy" was actually a person scat-signing, and then sped up massively, a la Alvin and The Chipmunks, but even moreso, to the point where it doesn't even sound like a person.
Some would be interested in knowing that we used "Cold Duck" as the theme song to our comedy TV show in college, "Null and Void." 1987 to around 1991. (Though the version we used was taken from a 45 release that I found in the local record store 33 cent bin, not from this LP.)

45 was "King's Eyes" with a shorter version (I believe) of "Cold Duck" on the B side. I guess also on Audio Fidelity.

Wow! Thank you for this quality upload. We used to clean the house to this every Saturday morning. Listening really took me back!
