  • Great day Uncle Steve! I really enjoy setting down after work and watching you fish! Please keep producing you channel is number one on my favorites!

  • I'd like to catch some pike sometime ... but don't know if there are any in this area.

  • @adamitshelanu thats a shame im going up to Canada for a fishing trip this summer im so excited

  • @adamitshelanu I think the pickeral is the closest we'll get to pike in our area. I've caught a few in little river resovior in n. durham and harris is sopouse to have a bunch as well.

  • @dancingdebo I've read in the Eno River Assoc. web site there is supposed to be pickerel in some parts of the Eno ... so I think that fits with your advice.

Haven't heard from you in a long time ... glad to know you are still alive. :^)

  • @adamitshelanu I caught a 4lb. pike out of White River here in Indiana and according to Indiana Fish and Wildlife, there isn't suppose to be pike in that river. I caught him on a nightcrawler on bottom. Sometimes you just don't know what you will catch out of a creek or river system.

  • @fishing3033 What you said is certainly so. There definitely are surprise fish ... and it can be a delight.

Just a general note to everyone:

If you find a predator fish out of place ... it's good to ask around to be sure you have ID'ed the fish correctly. And if you really do find something like that, especially an unexpected predator species, report it to a state wildlife biologist.

  • Have you ever gone pike fishing

  • Have you tried cut bait?

  • @MikeyMikeM21 Yes.
