Huge thanks for the video! The update was super easy and the new os seems stable and snappy. Quick question though, every time I turn my phone back on after being turned off, I have to enter in my Google password because it says the previous password was incorrect or something has changed with my Google account. So the question is, have you been experiencing the same thing? Also, for those of us who downloaded the 2.1 leak, will we receive the over the air update or is the leak the exact same?

I thought Verizon had the best signal? You got like 1 bar of 3G and the market is slow to load! I am with T-Mobile and I get 3-4 bars of 3G and market is blazing fast.

@flyingmonkeys96 With 1 bar I got about .5mbps which is alright for tethering but with full bars I get adbout 1.5mbps which is really nice... So I'd consider it really nice even with 1 bar.

i installed loved it 2.1 rocks only problem for me were album cover on music was all one cover noticed a bit slower when srolling in music only!! in music and when charging, screen doesn't stay on like before thats it but it works perfect just minor details i noticed tnks for update damm verizoin for no update on 2.1 yet!!

Does the 2.1 firmware run any faster than the 1.5 firmware. I'm happy with 1.5 right now, but it can be sluggish at times, even after killing some running apps. Will speed up again though after power cycling the phone. New features look nice, though.

Also when I call a number my phone vibrates after it connects the call.Can you help? Anyways i did the update and have had no other problems with it.

If you made a google account (which is highly recommended when getting the phone I think it is required) The contacts you make should be synced with your google account. (Should meaning you must have selected "Phone" rather then "Gmail" or "Google". The contacts should be synced back to your phone once you have entered all of your info in. If you are unsure go into your google account email and on the lower left and corner there is a "CONTACTS"

Yes, Texting, Calling, Downloading. Its a full featured 2.1 nothing that is in 1.5 isn't in 2.1 and even more is in 2.1 :) It works flawlessly :)

It doesn't keep anything that is personalized from 1.5 though does it? Like it doesn't keep contacts, it just boots the OS fresh?

You can download a 1.5 rom. Or you it might be pre on the phone and you just have to do a HARD restore. Just go to restore and do the restore boot. the other kind of boot. I'm sorry I'm not looking at it right now so its hard to say what exactly It is.. Be if you really need to i can walk you through it :)
