@uhbygv852 And, they can see things underground w/ their strange eyes. and like you said, they are immune to poison, and can poison enemies (either take away a lot of health or kill them) if they are eaten.

this is my theory on candypop buds (Ill call them CPb) . the CPb is a carnivore so it eats flys, maybe tiny drawf bulborbs, spiders and PIKMIN (this is why they sound like they're dying),after getting enough food it spits out seeds to grow more CPb and non-plucked pikmin are actually newly growing CPb (also explains why they are the same colour as the CPb), but some manage to get out of the ground and became PIkmIN....To Be Contiued
