This is proof that Karate and Kung Fu are effective against MMA. Seems to me that most fighters lack the confidence or skill to pull off such moves so resort to only low leg kicks or punches and grappling. We've not even seen a good boxer yet in the MMA. There is so much room left for MMA to improve and evolve I think.

@Bladesd55 Sorry if I was rude, it just doesn't make sense to say Karate is ineffective in any situation including the cage. It takes a long time to understand, but real karate is an incredibly effective counter striking style. No one can be a complete fighter following only 1 discipline. Pretty much every fighter has to train some grappling and experiment with other styles and training if they want to get anywhere. And no GSP is just even better since he has Kyokushin background.
