  • Must say, that was pretty impressive... I have a long way to go before I hit that level. Just struggling to get my DB beats smoothed over and sounding neat, you killed it though! Awesome song by an awesome band covered well.

I see what you mean about letting out the snares - after that first picture interlude it had a much flatter sound, which IMHO isn't a bad thing in this case. I do agree though, even at the beginning the snare could've been a LITTLE tighter.Other than that, perfect!Good work!

  • The drumming equivalent of patting your head and rubbing your tummy at the same time. Pretty breath taking man.

  • Hey man, your drumming is excellent and I'm really impressed.

Some feedback on the recording process tho, you've got a few nasty frequencies hiding in there which is what 5martone was referring to. 5 minutes of really easy EQing and your drum sound will be much clearer.

Watch a video called Getting the perfect kick drum sound by atlinstituteofmusic. It will help heaps.

Just some advice. You are a bloody good drummer, rock on.

  • @SpeedyReedy Thanks man the feedback is appreciated!

  • great playing, great sounds! :)

  • @isaincudrumming Thanks!

  • Hey really good man! God covers like these make me wanna put my drum set back together and start playing and learning again :P haha nice job

  • @Museianist Thanks bud! And don't hesitate to set up those drums haha.

  • I'm still trying to collect my jaw from the floor - Amazing drumming my friend!

At last, I know how some drum parts were played!

I really like your foot work -> any specific practice routine for the single pedal to achieve that kind of skill?

  • @DrummerDarnok Thanks buddy! And this is actually the first song I learned that had double pedal...Every pedal is different but my advice is for speed use more ankle and less leg muscles. Depending on how tight the springs are the sweet spot on the pedal is going to differ. Experiment with foot placement. That's the best way I can describe it in words haha good luck.

  • Awesome cover, but what's wrong with your snare? Sounds like bucket... Tune it up a bit. Keep up! :D

  • @5martone I turned the snares off in the middle of the song...that's probably what you're hearing ;)

  • You blew that shit up Joe!!!!!!!!!

  • @niccasful Thanks please subscribe to get regular notifications and some behind the scenes content coming soon!

  • keep it up like my duck

  • How has this not got more views already? that was one of the best covers I've seen on you tube

  • @adiaddict thanks man! help me spread the word haha
