You can't get the Golden Ring unless you load your original Golden Sun data into the game at the very beginning, or in the main menu... And at that rate, you can't get it unless you save that guy Hsu near Altin a little more than halfway through the first game.

It's sad, when using a code from Golden Sun Password Generator, you can't get the scene of Feizhi giving you the Golden Ring T-T
