So you admit there is racism in Ireland!?. Thanx God for that. Firstly yes there was an in flock of foreigners in your country and yes the Nigerians took advantage of your system by giving birth to kids who does not have Irish blood then claiming status. The system has changed so Irish people have to look at how many of those asylum seekers are getting deported becoz they do get deported. Why not leave it all to decision makers. Some of those asylum seekers came here wit good intentions.
@moralsintact The road to hell is paved with good intentions.
We left the economy to the decision makers, and they fucked it up. I'm not condoning racism, but it exists. All we can do is try to understand why it happens so we can eliminate as much of it as possible. It is maybe time to turn off the immigration tap (from all countries) for a while until our economy improves, so we all (all casts of Irish) can sort out the country.
it's not the job of elected representatives to get people on the housing list , or to bump them up the hospital waiting lists, if they qualify , they qualify , thats it , many of Ireland's problems today are as a direct result of people lobbying of politicians .
