dudes I was this close to buying the DSI, but I heard that the R4 and the M3 do not work on DSI because it is protected against it....so I was like, " um, hell no if R4 or M3 do not work on DSI then I'm getting a DS Lite cause that is BS"....it was the most wisest choice, now I can play every freaking DS game that I want without having to pay a dime for it...ty R4, but still DSI is cool, its too bad R4 does not work on it, it is really sad

Don't forget that the DSi offer better screens (that looks better, and with a little higher brightness than the DSlite), better speakers (which I personnally find nice, when you play alone in your room without headphones). Battery life is also decreased, but it remains excellent, compared to the DS fat...

+ some shit stuff, like Mii support, DSi shop, stupid gay non-professionnal photo editing and sound modifying...

It's true that 3 megapixel isn't much, most cellphone go to 5 or even 8, with a flash (the DSi don't has that). + I don't think that this screen with a resolution made for gaming will do good on webrowsing... like DarkXtrike said. Can't read mp3 ? Okay... forget about using DSi as a music player, unless you convert it all (mp3s are still pretty common).

Dude on the Japanese Nintendo site, it says it supports Adobe Flash. It uses Opera 9.5 and since it supports flash, it supports Macromedia (Youtube). The camera it awesome and the .MP4 is no big deal but can be fixed with a firmware update.

At least for the normal DS the connector on the DS-side is the same, so on the normal DS all you need to do is to either get a loader for your region or and USB one. I doubt the DSi would be any different, why change it? But I guess you can find photos somewhere from all sides of it and see if the connector is the same.

Kind of suck if the firmware is japanese only and you don't know the language though =P
