I don't go to the zoo often but i've a question. When something like this happens (animal poops nearby) does the odor actually carry over to you or will it not be that strong?
I have never detected any odor. In this case, there probably is very little odor.
I think carnivores are usually the ones with the more smelly poop. Even when the Zoo had elephants, there never seemed to be any odor wafting toward the visitors if they plopped something on the ground.

Lol! That must stink. When I was at the rhiano exhebit, It was running around then pooped right in front of me!

Actually, it didn't stink.
But, of course, the animal smells are part of the visitor experience, so I wouldn't have minded if it did.

When you were at the rhino exhibit, it seems that the rhino put on a special show for you!
