try to feather the throttle with a car that doesn't have huge horsepower
try a rx7 with around 400-450hp and tune the gears so there not too short but dont have them too long cuz longer gears produce higher horsepower causing you to spinout. Just race on sunset and tune as you go along to try and find and good drift setup

i been trying to drift and all i seem to do is spin out :(
