  • i loved it anc the cinema room was full when i went too, but yeah its a realy scary film i think, and katie and micah did a great job at making u believe especially katie <3

  • waaait you have to DEMAND it to your city to watch it? o.o i wanna watch pa2 but i'd have to demand it ;/

  • I loved the movie. I like that it was a low budget film and that it didn't just throw it in your face. It wasn't like a tacky hunted house where guys with chainsaws pop out from around the corner and chase you-- it was more like a psychological thriller/ horror that keeps you guessing until the end. The great part about it is that you really don't know if the demon is real or if Micah is just humoring Katie. The more I think about the movie, the more I love it.

I can't wait to go see it again!

  • anyone else spend to much time looking through these comments trying to find a place to watch paranormal activity, was i found a good one while looking through some yahoo answer questions the site is theonlinecinema. net/paranormal-activity

  • I waited for four hours in line to watch a demon shut a door, turn off the lights, dust the chandeliers, water the plants, move some furniture, cook in the kitchen with a knife, and help a young lady out of bed so she could get ready for WORK! I think they should of changed the name of the film to Paranormal Housecleaning because that is what demon did he cleaned cleaned cleaned until Micah put that flour on the floor! Hollywood pulled another BLAIR WITCH and we all fell for it!

  • I see that the movie's pacing didn't appeal to you - but I always enjoy a good slow burn. I thought the tension built slowly but steadily towards the climax. I enjoyed a film that for the most part relied on subtlety and suggestion to build dread instead of just smashing people over the head with it. That is - until the tacked on ending changed the script at the last minute. You didn't like BWp. Do you care for other slow burn flicks like Wicker Man? Thanks for your comments.

  • Hahahaha... If it was an obsessive cleaning demon, then I think the flour musta made it go "Imma KILLLLLL this MUTHA******" !!! But seriously, this movie rocks and I guess you have to buy into it a little for it to work. Oh yeah did anyone else think that the exorcism video clip bit was mega creepy?! Reminded me of Emily rose mixed wit Reagan from the Exorcist except her one was hungry...

  • I finally got a chance to see this film and while it was a bit unnerving I don't think it lived up to the massive hype. It was an enjoyable watch but not something I would revisit.

  • Nothing kills a movie worse than hype. Luckily I went into P.A. blind not knowing what to expect. In my review I warn people that the film is a slow burn because if you go in expecting it to be crazy from the start you can find yourself letdown. I'm curious as to how it will stand up on repeated viewings because it doesn't really have the atmosphere of Blair Witch Project nor the bizarre imagery. It lives and dies on subtlety and building unexpected shocks near the end. Thanks for watching!

  • I need to see this, thanks very good review.

  • Dude I really want to see this. I know the theaters around me are showing it and more are getting it soon. Great stuff man!

  • Great review. I need to go check it out.

  • Thanks, Jason. I think I gave this film my highest rating of the year so far. I need to see if it stands up on repeat viewings - but the first time through it really creeped me out.

    Domo!

  • Sounds great!
