How much meter can the bluetooth range work well without a wall in between?

I have another question. If you stop the player in the middle of playing a mp3 file or audiobook does it then automatically shut down after a short while (for example less then 30 seconds if no button is touched) (to save battery life) and when you press a button does it come back to the point in the mp3 file where it shut down so you can continue from the same place listening where you stopped it?

download prism video converter, its free, change the edit output to 320x240 and output format to mp4 and convert whatever u want then put them on the walkman.

It doesn't have the FM tuner. If you're looking for FM tuner, you have to look for the SONY S series.

I have been comparing the I-pod Fourth Generation to the new Sony Walkman and I have found interesting details about both, but personally I like the I-pod much better because, First: Its more SOLID, Second: has better sound quality, and Third: has more detail and has more technologically advanced features, such as Genius and great video control. Will someone tell me what they think about these two great music devices

I just got the nwze438 and it can play avc, mp4, and wmv files. Windows media player automatically converts the vid file for you in the newer model that I have.

how much did you pay for it?? It looks small. and I wan to get that remote. Most Latest model supports that video file. Dont need to convert, even more fancy one is supports xvid in case of yp-p3. so p3 user enjoy the input videos on the ultmate screen. try it, i bet you ain't disappoint it.

ive got the NWZ A728 (same thing but no bluetooth). HOW DO YOU PUT VIDEO CLIPS such as avi, flash, wma etc files???!!! Its not letting me do that. The only videos i can upload are my mpeg4. I only have a few mpeg4 format videos and loads of other video files. Im getting fustrated cos i purchased this thinking i can just put any video files. Is there any way i can put any video files??

dude, the point of having built-in bluetooth is for people to use bluetooth headphones and speakers and also for who doesnt prefer in-ear headphones! you might as well plug your in-ear headphones stright to the device. itll save you battery life

yes, I know they are decent, but if there was no quality loss with BT I would love to get rid of the cord anyways.. unfortunately BT still affects the sound (in a negative way ofcourse)

the problem is you still have a cord! the dongle + headphones are pretty redundant, instead of a player+headphones you now have 3 things to carry around, the dongles just like another mp3 player. its totally bogus. and of course the sound quality degrades because of blutooth limitations/compression. the extra cost/battery management/inferior sound make it totally pointless.

its the ex-082, an oem. u may lose the noise cancelling without the oem.

the mdr-ex082 don't even have noise cancelling... Anyways the mdr-ex082 that this comes with is an oem version of the mdr-ex85
