According to Joseph Horowitz in "The Ivory Trade", Schub disliked this performance, considering it to be far too fast.

When the Cliburn foundation wanted to release a live recording of this recital over his objections, he retaliated by rushing to record the same works with a different label, causing the live recording to be scrapped.

Maybe it's the bad sound quality of the registration, but I think Brahms would be played more aggressive especially in the bass part. In my opinion this performance is too soft, even though it's a great one.
