Huge mass of chakra. LOL When did chakra had mass, it is nothing but energy. IF they wanted to depict how much concentrated it is, they could use some other term to describe it. Also why bother blocking it when he could just wait for naruto to fire it and then simply side step and move as far away as possible? The show also doesn't explain how much chakra is needed to pull of large scale jutsu and summoning.
orchimaru keeps pull out moves and so does naruto it does match the song. Something doesn't work so they try something else. Losing hope and he regaining it.

Also why bother blocking it when he could just wait for naruto to fire it and then simply side step and move as far away as possible? The show also doesn't explain how much chakra is needed to pull of large scale jutsu and summoning.
