Because it may look, think and act like him but it can never truly be him.

AU may stand for Alternate Universe, but in this case it means fake or fraudulent. The video I saw was pieced together using Rose with Tenth Doctor material and scenes of Eleventh Doctor. In no frame did we see Rose and the Doctor together facing each other or side by side.

This is just for fun and for developing vidding skills. People should definitely stop being so serious about this kind of vids, and take it as they actually are: fan works. Made for the fans.

I do not know how many times that I have seen one of these videos that looked so good, then I realize after carefully watching that the "movie" does not really exist. It is not always made clear that these are fan-made, which would be false advertising. If you want to show off your vidding skills, post the finished product on a personal website or your Facebook account.

I think they could make this happen brilliantly by allowing the Eleventh Doctor (and possibly Amy and Rory) go to the parallel universe that Rose is in. This would allow Eleventh to meet Tenth (well, a clone of him, but good enough), Eleventh to meet Rose, Amy and Rory to meet Tenth Clone, and Rose to meet Amy and Rory. I really hope they do this, it'd be amazing!
