Fedor can only beat opponents like Satoshi Ishii or Fat tim sylvia, Fedor only big accomplish was beating noguera twice in 3rd round only while noguera got loss to frank mir before 3rd round.

@alarson968 What year are you living in? Fedor has been led around by the balls by M1 his whole career and bankrupted several promotions. He used to be good fighting small heavyweights but the division passed him by years ago. Overeem would have killed him, which is why Fedor never fought him, Fedor was the best but fighting weak opponents keeps him from being legendary.

He beat Shamrock, Severn, Patrick Smith and many others when there were no weight classes, gloves, time limits and hardly any rules (and he had to do it multiple times in one night). Sure he lost to Sakuraba once but he also beat him once too. Royce was also 40 when Hughes beat him. Rickson was even better.

The most defenses by any Heavyweight in MMA. Thats a 9 time World Champion in MMA and 7 Gold Medals in Russian Sambo, Gold Medal in World Sambo, Gold Medal in Judo all while competing MMA.

Fedor was a great fighter and had a great career, his record shows he was better in the ring than in the cage. How his fight vs Bigfoot went is a strong possibility of what might have happened had he fought in the UFC against Carwin, Lesnar, Velasquez, Dos Santos and others. Fedor didn't look any larger than Hendo whom he outweighed by 16 lbs so he got a taste of what fighting a solid 205lbs fighter would've been like and he could easily make 205. i'm not one to say fedor ducked, because he has managers that pretty much run his career. but, honestly, i do question if he really wanted to fight guys like lesnar, carwin, mir, jds who was coming up at the time, etc. those guys are the best in the world. plain and simple. or, is he just naive enough to believe anything his managers tell him. it's a perplexing situation to this day. but i think we all have a decent idea what would've happened had he faced brock.
