they made an investigation and based on the report they admitted that their is probable cause for any legal action, yet those involved were not preventively suspended to avoid undue influence, etc while administrative case is on going. perhaps if what you said is true then this is VSMMC in its very complicated situation. in the very first place sotto should have conducted the investigation in line with the principles of law like due process, accountability and transparency, but they did not.

video recording always happen specially in rare cases...but doctors should always observe proper decorum all the time...specially so that they are aware there are videos being recorded they even mentioned at the start that its for documentation purposes... I just hope this doesnt degrade all the doctors...bec when there is a scandal about a doctor the whole medical community is affected

they made an investigation and based on the report they admitted that their is probable cause for any legal action, yet those involved were not preventively suspended to avoid undue influence, etc while administrative case is on going. perhaps if what you said is true then this is VSMMC in its very complicated situation. in the very first place sotto should have conducted the investigation in line with the principles of law like due process, accountability and transparency, but they did not.

disregard of the patient's sexual preferences,he still deserve to be treated with respect. they should know better how to protect the patient's privacy. I don't know about those doctors, but i do know that nurses are taught back in nursing schools that NURSES ARE PATIENT'S ADVOCATE..... well, in this instnace clearly they're not.... if i were the patient, i'll sue them and take them to the cleaners..... this is just plain UNPROFESSIONALISM AND IGNORANCE...

The video is not only for remembrance, as you say a milestone achievement, this is also a documentation. this is an assault case.The surgeon needs the video as evidence f he goes to court as witness of the patient. It only proves that medical practitioner here are truly undiscipline. There license should be removed and must be penalize on what they have done.

It's so sad that this vid was made. It ruins one of the most important principles taught to the professionals coming from the field of medicine. THE PRINCIPLE OF CONFIDENTIALITY. From the start, this ethical principle was stressed on our curriculum. It demeans the profession that was supposed to be respected and trusted, because lives are at stake. Now the trust is broken and will take time to earn back. I hope this will be the last of it.
