This game is far from perfect, the only boss that was epic was Poseidon. The only other weapon that was useful was the cestus. Enemies lack threat, even on Chaos mode. Kratos Voice sux horrible... The gods were made WAY TO WEAK! Poseidon single handedly felled one of the titans, but couldn't kill Kratos? bull...

@Omegian14 If Kratos had gone back in time to before he killed his family then he would never have seeked vengeance on Aries and therefore would not have followed the plotline which lead to him going back in time to stop himself killing his family, this would mean he wouldn't have gone back in time to stop himself killing his family which means he didn't stop his family being killed, it's an infinite loop so best not to ever mention anything like this in games/movies ;)

This is perfection. Very hard to find any kind of flaws. the shit kratos do to the bosses is literally can be labeling him as extreme psychopath. The violence he inflicts tops any other games and even movies i've seen so far. The shit he does warrants the game a fucking AO rating and I don't know how the fuck ESRB even not give it a AO rating.

Fighting is super smooth, frame rate is smooth and consistent. The new grappling move allows you to chain pretty crazy combos and streamlines the combat.

he wasn't betrayed by zeus ffs zeus gave him many warnings to stop his rampage over greece he also sent a messenger to kratos who he killed also areas only attacked 1 city while kratos attack many its kratos own fault if he wasn't such an asshole this coulda all been avoided also thos rating systems are bullshit if they knew anything about god of war it wouldn't be such a high mark i bet they played on very easy and said the game can be challenging at times

@18amano well u probably either played through god of war 1,2 a couple of times or uve just heard about god of war and just bought the 3rd one and think great the story is terrible the 2nd one ruined it the 1st one has by far the best stroyline and not many plotholes i can think of in god of war 2 one of the many plotholes is when kratos travels back in time to the great war to save the titans how does gaia now kratos when he hasn't been born yet

@Omegian14 becasue god of war 2 was a terrible game with soo many plot holes god of war 3 tried to cover up those plot holes with godly bodies the only one i really like was god of war 1 the time travel thing coulda opened up nay possiblities that kratos coulda done like what you said or treveling back in time and killing zeus just after kratos was born cos if he killed zeus b4 that kratos wouldn't be alive but they didn't explain fully why he did what he did instead of the over things

The Xbox was hugely successful, and a couple of years after it's release, everyone had one. It had exclusives like Halo and Fable, yet still had games like GTA and NeedForSpeed. Tons of amazing games on the other two platforms? No, there were tons of games, but the majority were shit, what Xbox had, was fantastic. PS2 was littered with crap, it had such a massive selection, but only about 20% of that was playable. Gamecube had nothing, and what it did have was okay, some classics, but that's it.

Also, I've played and liked every console Zelda game.(handheld games are just dissappointing) I think, Zelda is better, you think God of War is better. I'm okay with that, you should be too, but Zelda will always be a treasured memory.

@HephaestusPrime god of war is not about button-mashing, it actually has an inmense depth on its controls that verges on what ninja gaiden can offer. In the latest chapters the amount of moves at your disposal is simply outrageous and is really rewarding when you know what combos to use at the right time. It is a game that anybody can play but just few can master it.

@efiorello10 Wrong, Ocarina of Time re-invented the 3D platformer, and only because it was so revolutionary for it's age. If OoT never existed, another game would have taken it's place, it was a time when the world was waiting for that one, perfect, 3D game. Not to say that OoT is bad, it's incredible, but people only refer to it as the greatest game ever made because of the times. It's physically impossible to top OoT going by that logic. In my opinion, MM was the best LoZ, Tp was terrible.
