yeh it was class. I think Ross and Hancock left and it started losing ratings or something like that. Certainly the guy who replaced hancock was utter shite, cant remember his name. probably the only bbc program i used to regularly watch

For me, the show was first stung when both Gower and Lineker left at the same time. Although I felt they might have been onto another winner when they paired Tuffers and Wrighty up, but Phil didn't stick around. Once Hancock and Woss got bored with it, the BBC themselves didn't see any point carrying on.

The six guys on the Best Of... DVD cover - Hancock, Gower, Lineker, McGrath, Hurst and Ross - represent the heart of this show for me.
