I understand the concept of unconditional love, but this mom is way way out there.

I have an adult son and I could never, EVER uphold him if he committed crimes like this!!! She is going to provide an alibi? For what? So he can walk the streets and kill another child???

As a mother who loves her son dearly I would not ever wish to think that my son could have been involved in something so terrible....HOWEVER, as a mother, I would not and could not lie to protect my son if it was possible that he had been involved. Yes, I would not take what investigators were saying at face value but if I were shown evidence (computer) then I would do my best to give an honest account of what I did know. As a mother I could not allow my grown son to ever cause harm to another..
Here's what I don't understand. His mother may not have known/believed he committed murder...understandable. BUT 1. She is claiming to be his alibi...impossible seeing all the evidence. He is guilty. 2. The child porn found in his house is undeniable. And if he's that much of a sicko, I'm sorry, son or not...he's not getting my defense. If not for those 2 facts, I would completely understand her behavior, but in light of that, I am leaning towards her being an enabler, probably all his life.

I know he's a killer, but attacking his mom isn't fair. To be honest she's a very smart woman. She knows when to be quiet and when to speak up. I'm not defending him at all, but I don't think she's stupid. Anyone can get a bad egg. Some of the best parents alive will get 5 amazing children/later adults, and one total failure who's into drugs and porn and destroying his life. But no one should blame her for wanting to believe her own son (you would, too, if your baby was being accused of murder).
I wonder what his stupid ass mother is saying now that her baby admitted to this heinous crime. Rest in peace precious angel.
