  • The DR and resolution on this thing blows away the 1Ds and D3x out of the water. The images it produces has a certain "3D" feel to it.

  • must be nice....

  • Des Ding macht zwar nur ein Bild pro sekunde, aber speichert mit dem einen Bild mal schnell nen halben Gigabyte Daten weg! Des is der hammer!

  • These phase one cameras are wayyyy to expensive..last time I checked, around USD$42,495 for a P45. WTH!?

  • Wgat is the iso perfomanse good or bad? on medium fromat

  • Amazing isn't it ? All that money and equipment and experience just for some dumb advert you flick past in a crap magazine. Makes you wonder why really.

  • Does anyone know the brand/make of the laptop case w/shade being used in the first scene?

  • i did vomit on on of those p25 once

  • The sensor in the P25 is 37x49mm. Compare this to the fullframe Canons and Nikons with their 24x36mm sensors.

Even those are pricey, but with these bigger sensors the price really shoots up. Making a flawless piece this size isn't easy.

  • very funny about a lifetime investment =D

  • are the backs the most expensive part? cuz the price difference between a back only and a camera + back isn't very big.

  • I can do some of those text scrolling effects in Kino for Linux. You no longer need a Windoze or Mac to do digital video editing.

  • What is a digital Back? Why is that box looking this sticking out so much in the back? Why is this camera so expensive?

  • A digital Back is simply the unit containing the sensor. Medium format cameras tend to be more modular than SLRs. They are made so that you can swap out the back, prism/viewfinder and lens as needed. The box thing on the back of the camera is the digital back. Medium format cameras are so expensive because the sensors are bigger than even full-frame digital cameras. It costs a lot of money to make such a large piece of flawless silicon with all the other electronics attached to it.

  • Well explained, thank you friend for taking the time to educate me, really appreciated :) .
