okay i added those in and saved it in the notes. but when i go into the game, my suit energy bar still decreases for some reason. any tips on figuring out what, if anything, i did wrong?

I used the -DEVMODE option and I can pull up the console and everything and I've typed in the code that should enable the cheats, but it won't activate any of the cheats I type in. What am I doing wrong?

wat you gotta do is open notepad in administrator mode, open the file yu wanna edit, and edit it as you want.

save it it wont give you the access denied message

@macocane55 It shouldn't say access denied. Are you using your parents computer? Does it have any parental control on it?

@macocane55 Copy the file, then paste in on the desktop. Now, change the values you want to (in the copied file) and save it. After that, place the original in any folder (I recommend you making a backup folder) and place the modded copy where the original was. Rename it (delete the "- copy") and there you go.

I've had the same issue when modding the proto(x).xml in AoE3 (TWC). After I did what I just described, it worked.

@ALUMINOUSEMARC devmode is a tool made by the developers of the game. Devmode is short for Developer mode which is used by testers to test for bugs easier.

Just add "-devmode" at the end of the file location, and It'll work. :)
