You mean the singer? She probably knew what she was singing and had at least a basic knowledge of the language.

If you mean the audience, then I'd have to say most of them don't know Japanese, other than a handful of words. I could tell from the response they had when Shokotan or another guest spoke in Japanese; there weren't many reactions until the translator repeated what she said in English.
