I agree -- Jonathon Morris owned the part of El Gallo. However, if you were to go out to Amazon and read the reviews of this DVD, most felt Morris was seriously lacking in his portrayal of El Gallo, which I don't understand. He was actually the ONLY actor who fit his part. The fathers in the movie were way too old and I could think of tons of better actors than Jean and Joey. Jonathon Morris should have gotten top billing over all of them -- he most certainly deserved it!!

El Gallo is the sexiest person alive. Jonathon Morris was absolutely amazing in this movie! I wish he would make more movies, so I could have more pleasure-filled evenings. :P

He owns the part, in my book. No one on stage could produce so much feeling for this character. Jonathon brought El Gallo to life. His singing voice is beyond words, as is his acting. And for what's it worth, I think he should've ended up with Luisa.
