If there is such a thing as the so called "God's gift", then it's Susan Boyle who's got it... How can a practically amateur sing like this? Tested in a most "difficult" musical song, Susan proved by singing "Memory" that her voice has not just got an amazing colour and a rare sensitivity, but also a great range... Among a choice of a thousand different concerts , yes, i would definitely choose to go to the one of Susan! Many thanks and regards from Greece!

Susan had a weak beginning but she just kept getting stronger as she progressed through the song..and WOW what an ending! I sing with two Sweet Adeline Choruses in Canada, one of which is on the International circuit, if you saw Susan put her hand on her abdomen, she was getting the BREATH that she needed.She knew what she had to do in that moment.

Yeah, Susan. You are a star no matter the outcome. I, too , hope you get to sing for the Queen to fulfill your dream. You deserve it!

This was NOT absolutely brilliant! No way! As much as I like Susan this was NOT up to her first performance on BGT. She was clearly nervous and not into the song at all. Memory is a difficult song to sing, even for a professional. I hope her nerves are under control in the final. All the hype finally got to her, it's clear, but as good as she was, this performance was rather uninspiring. Perhaps it just wasn't her night.

I hate to have to agree -- it was not as strong as I Dreamed a Dream. We also need to acknowledge that her first performance also benefitted tremendously from us not knowing anything about her, and then being won over by having her turn any of our preconceptions or initial judgements upside down. With time and coaching, she should still do very very well.
