I don't see why they should ban jazz. Some of them are just being hypocritical, like that guy who saved Django Reinhardt's life since he love his music.
los alemanes fueron muy ingenuos toda su propaganda fue ingenua...les hicieron caer en la trampa y fueron a una guerra contra todos que no podian ganar
This is a nazi propaganda short for Dutch audiences. It says, that Germany and its allies are fighting to preserve culture and that there is no room any more for loafers and decadent good for nothings. No doubt audiences in nazi occupied Holland were waiting for the little piece of jazz in it. In those days the Germans seized all radios because the Dutch did not listen to German-controlled radio, but to the BBC and later on the voice of America. This is the background of this little clip
The British were more successful at getting their population to get behind the war effort than the Germans. They were turning in their scrap brass etc. while German factories continued to manufacture luxury items into 1942.
Vechten voor het belang van bestaansrecht van Europa. Dat klinkt bekent in den oren.

Exactly, I've spoken to people who saw this in the cinema, all cheering and applauding for the Swing and Jazz.
