If he was English would he be on their national team? People say that only Tim Howard could start almost anywhere in the world but I think Dempsey would fight with all his might to be on any team. (btw i didn't say he'd be starting 11, just make the team)

@RollOnToVictory i dont think tim howards as good as goalies like joe hart or casillas or reina so i dont think its true that he could get on any team. Dempsey would have to play for a better team to be on the england national team. e.g liverpool, man u, chelsea, i think he'd fit in with a team like tottenham if im honest and theyre a great side now

@RollOnToVictory i think capellos very pleased that hes got hart, best goalie in the world in afew years time, trust. i think dempsey could probabaly play on the bench for united, i dont think he could replace scholes or carrick but hes definately better than anderson, dont get me wrong i think hes a quality player but im not sure if hes starting eleven standard for teams like man u or chelsea. I think liverpool could do with someone like him at the moment though
