The guy doesn't know a damn thing about creating a run game. He'd tell you himself that his idea of a run game is just a short passing game, "extended hand-offs" as he'd call it.
Nonetheless, Payton has improved with some of his in-game decisions & adjustments, so he'll get credit there. As far as the run game, he has A LOT of room for improvement.
