  • alguien me puede dar el dato ,si Gillan, alguna vez canto este temazo?.Gracias.

  • would be more than fanastic if deep purple do a reunion concert/tour (blackmore, lord, paice, turner/gillan, glover)...can't see it happening since blackmore made it clear he didn't want to do hard rock any more, which is a damn great shame! i respect what he's doing with now with his wife's band, but i wish he would do one deep purple reunion concert/tour.....i would die with a big smile on my face!

  • Holy jesus, this is heavy. And just when I thought the only "heavy metal"-esque deep purple was on Machine Head and In Rock. This rules

  • the music, the guitar is great.the lyrics and singing suck!!!!

  • PERFECT SONG,PERFECT ALBUM,PERFECT LINE UP,PERFECT BAND!!!!

  • Fuckin' awsome!!

  • Am I the only one who hates Joe Turner? With him it just seemed to sound like, some generic 90s band, not Deep Purple.

  • JLT is the best!

  • simply awesome!

  • DP RuLzZz!!!

  • this sounds like a Super Castlevania song :D great song!!!! this seriously rocks

  • I might be a little fan-boy-ish here but this sounds good to me. It's a shame some albums and songs get a "bad reputation" only because there has been a line-up change... a really nice treat from Jon Lord on this one aswell !

  • This whole album was / is so brilliant!

not th ebiggest JLT fan but have to admit that too many people seem to miss just how good theese tracks are simply due to a slightly different style of vocal.

def up there with some of the best DP stuff.

  • Pretty good song. But, its hard to listen to it as a Deep Purple song.

  • @DaveWreckingCrew Not really, if you focus on the keyboard solo that no one but Jon Lord can possibly play.

  • A good song:)

  • WHEN DID THIS LP COM OUT AND WHO IS IN THE LINE UPRICHIE AND IAN DONT SOUND LIKE IT

  • @lawnking1 1991 Slaves & Masters

  • @lawnking1 sorry the second part is its Paice, glover, lord, blackmore with Joey Lynn Turner as their singer

  • @CavemanJesus4Life thankds dude

  • the whole album was very underrated, and this song, aside from "love conquers all", is the best one of the album. i got this on compact cassette version, never found a cd version... this stuff may not be exactly the classic DP, but it's really very good. loved it for 15+ years, and continue to do so.

  • i was like this:

    1. yep that's quite a nice opening tune!

    2. wow the heavy riff is close to perfect!

    3. damn the voice fits the instrumentals amazingly!

    4. argh, that chorus makes me feel sad while making me want to bang my head and dance around at the same time!

    5. yesss, the solo... again!

and then, when i thought it couldn't get anymore catchy within this song...

    6. ah right they got a keyboard solo too, aha, ah... shit, am i dreaming?!?! let's play it again! and again... and again... !!!

  • @hjoermungand Most epic comment on any rock video! :)

  • This album is so underrated....

I'm sorry if I don't get it, but I freaking love this album...

  • JLT all the way

  • Oooohhh Yeeeaaaah The cut rut runs deep !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • JLT and Dp is amazing!!!

  • we should try 2 get this re-released . its brilliant

  • The greatest mistake ever made... Miss Joe Lynn Turner singing in Deep Purple.

  • @TwistedMindCroatia At the time, he WAS a better singer than Gillan. If only he and the rest of the band had written some better songs, this could've been a top notch latter-day Purple album.

And Turner can really sing, there's no denying that. One listen to Yngwie's Odyssey album shows how well he handles everything from fast metal tunes to slow ballads.

  • Blackmore left DP feeling disgusted by Gillans attitude, the others forced him to go by pushing IG back into his throat.

  • Great Rainbow album!...

I kid. Great record and the best track to boot. Thanks for posting!

  • @Purplesnake41 No point in comparing them because Ian's vocals wouldn't fit these songs. I just appreciate each album on its own merits.

  • I have no fucking clue why this song never became a number one !!! It's an amazing tune !!!

  • @farofir I hear ya!

  • @farofir Probably 'cause it's not their main singer, he was only on this one album

  • yes but ultra hard fans do not like turner includin jon lord paice glover hmmmm.

that is one of the reason why later on blackmore left the band.

  • My favorite album and only one I know really

  • I know it's Purple 'n all...but this song would be SO at home on "Straight Between The Eyes..."

  • Slaves and Masters is such a great album!

  • Ritchie blackmore is God' guitar..... Solo incrivel.....

  • The great undiscovered Purple classic! A masterpiece!

  • GREAT SONG.

  • This whole album is exactly the epitome of how rock SHOULD sound. Big, wide, strong, powerful SOUNDS!

  • Very underrated Purple song...

  • @DennisGW10

Yes definitely worthy of being remembered, Jo Lynn Turner has always been my favorite of the frontmen for Rainbow, Deep Purple and Yngwie J. Malmsteen.

  • @DennisGW10 This whole album was underrated. It fell into that sketchy 80's 90's crossover period when noone had the balls to commit to anything, Shame

  • @DennisGW10 what deep purple song isnt?? i know its sad

  • @DennisGW10 i agree with you bro!! So underrated song, and i don't understand why...

  • This song is GREAT. AMEN...

  • thanks! :) returned me back in time
