Bet you didn't know the expression "Giuliani Time" comes from when Al Sharpton told a black man who was victim of police brutality to tell the media that the police told him, "it's Giuliani time." The mayor was hated by liberals because he proved the city is governable and that it is possible to reduce crime and help people on welfare get jobs.

He learned that thats the reality of the world, and if you believe enough in something he goes and gets it. it may seem harsh to people, but he had to learn that the hard way. His personal gain came from his great work as a mayor. He deserves that, and he doesn't deserve the treatment people are giving him.

no. if you watch the film you would know that he took jobs away from people such as selling art and washing windows. this workfare program was bullcrap for two reasons: one because he feels it is only ok to work the jobs HE wants you to work. and also, he was paying these people welfare checks for the same jobs that city workers do. this is basically slave labor.
