Why use ambiguities, double and triple talk in such core documents?
Regardless of the origin of the archetypes, which itself does not preclude multiple manifestations.
It does seem to be a devolutionary process that will likely, if not changed, result in our expulsion from the planet.

One thing learned over the years is to resist judging through my own modern/cultural lens.
However when the 42 Commandments of Egypt were read it reminded me of the Mel Brooks comedy when Moses was coming down from the mountain and dropped one of the stones.
As few will take the time, assuing they have it to even read the Bibles, I wish the Commandments had been more complete.
OTOH, most have trouble with the top ten.
What's really missing is respect 4 feelings and animals.

One of the Seven Laws of No'ach, which all human being must follow if they are to be called properly human, is not to tear a limb off a living animal.
Those laws are just *baselines*. They are the beginning of morality, not the end.
From that law, one is supposed to derive not to be unkind to animals at all.
This is my problem with CHaBa"D. They teach the baseline alright, but their interpretation and fleshing out is not healthy.

The "eye" of Horus (in the top of the pyramid) isn't the eye at all. It's quite another aperture altogether.
The Brits pronounce it more correctly than we Yanks. They say arse, not ass. Sounds more like Horus, which is it.

As you may know occult simply means secret, or hidden.
It's fairly simple to deduce with the numerous Inquisitions going on why a non-Catholic religion, faith, or method of communing with G-d, the very same one you speak of would have to go underground.
Many were translated into metaphorical forms such as Alchemy, and even the 'evil' astrology and the latter has nothing to do with fortune telling.

I've really been looking into islam and the vatican connection... also I have fallen into the class you speak of that has believed the kabbalah to be corrupted but I did not realize that it is the perversions of these entities and the pseudo kabbalah that is actually corrupted . This is what I got from it abd allthough a lot of people allready knew / know this I did not and there is a lot of teaching against the kabbalah, by people who seem to have an agenda of some sort ie (texe marrs freeman)

when you see people in hollywood claiming this enlightenment ie madonna and a lot of others it does make you think it must be corrupt. but it isn't the real kabbalah it's the pseudo kabbalah....right?? I'm not going to pretend to be some educated individual but that's what I got from this and it lit up a lot of cloudiness that was blocking what I needed to see. Thanks again!

And there is no Kabbalah that is not received as it has always been received: One on one, Teacher to pupil - that is from HaShem directly to the person.
