nice video sir  im from a little city in michigan and the people here no nothing of saugers and will argue that when they catch one its a walleye and i always tell em its not a walleye its a sauger look at the black dots on the dorsil walleye dont have thoes lol but they do tast just as good good luck fishing

Sauger walleye and saugeye are actually part of the perch family.

I was looking for some rough weather sauger fishing when I discovered this. I boat fish the Ohio for Saugees. Spent many year my self walking the banks, it's great to enjoy the outdoors in the winter. A simple 3 inch grub is bread & butter I agree. I'll Look for some more of you'er shows.

Gotta say though, The loud heavy tunes is a distraction. More of a Virgil Ward accompaniment.. Blade baits. and at times small crank baits take them.

But if you want big fish or massive runs on fish, you can see THAT in our other videos and most notably; in the newer videos. But those videos are about teaching as well, and the big fish are just an added bonus. Jay Van Dam's goal is teaching his experience, it isn't out there to flex his POWER in your rookie face...lil' fella
