Add me with the people who think Faster Pussycat are an awesome band. And personally I love all the hairspray, eye liner, glitz, and glam because it is fun. It is an extension of the old British glam rock like Slade or Sweet that the Ney York Dolls brought to American music. You go see some bands they just stand on stage and play, bands of that era like Faster Pussycat unstrstand the visual aspectof a live performance too. Plus the chicks dug it. Chicks my age still do. ;-)

I bought this album from columbia house (buy 12 for a penny) in high school, and I love hair rock, but I honestly thought they sucked. Tesla at the time had "Love Song" on the radio, "Great Radio Controversy" was a much better album.

Faster Pussycat, my favorite band, I met them backstage back in june1990, they opened for Whitesnake, in Ottawa,the crowd was not into them at all, I remember Taime telling the audience"Hey Ottawa, I can fart louder than you" but I thought they were ROCKIN', had a beer with the band, pictures and autograph.what a night, next night was Motley Crue and Tesla, ahh the good ol'days.

LOL Good story, That's too bad Ottawa wasn't feeling them. I saw them this summer and last in Toronto and they fucking kicked ass.

They sound exactly like they do on their records only heavyer live, Taime is really cool he was posing for pictures with fans after the show.

I wasn't crazy about "Whipped" But WMWIO and "The Power and the glory hole"are two of my favourite records.

Indeed! I went to see them open for Crue, back in the day, wasn't particularly interested in Crue, I recall. Pussycat was the real draw for me. Lead singer came out with a steering wheel on a chain around his neck, ala Flava Flav, f-ing hilarious, loved the show. :o)
