Ok, I finally found out why cops come so much to this site. because of assholes who continue to jump off the TOP of the bridge while on going traffic notices and someone fucking reports it! i am sick of this shit. I love this place and enjoy jumping off the cliff, but if the fuckers who want to bring the cops and end the fun for everyone else want to continue to jump off the top of the bridge, thats NOT ACCEPTABLE.
Hi! I am a native around Liberty Reservoir, off of Cockeys Mill Road, how do I get to the cliffs from that area? I tried today finding the path to get to the cliffs, but I can't seem to find it. The only way I know of getting to the cliffs is by swimming there or by taking a boat to get there. But, it seems that there has to be another way.

While the cop was nice, he ordered us to leave b/c he received a complaint that people were jumping off the top part of the bridge. Is this a common thing?
What road was this? Nicodemus Road? Liberty Road? Also, have you ever been rockfishing in Liberty? I hear they have some HUGE ones! What other fish are common in Liberty?
Yeah, and watch the people report that to a ranger or cop along the highway.. Though, years ago I used to jump off that bridge before they encased it where its only permissable to fish from the bridge.
I found some cliffs by going down a path on cockeysmill road. Is this what you are talking about? I will look this route 32 up tommorrow. I am a little concerned about going to the cliffs you all goto, since this is near the bridge, and police patrol that area, or do they?
Ok.. I would be coming from Reisterstown Road to Nicodemous Road - passing the Franklin Prescint - proceeding straight till I get to the stop sign where IVY MILL ROAD is. Going straight BEFORE THE BRIDGE, now what do I do and or where do I park and go? From the youtube video it seems you went past the bridge, pulled off to the left side and walked back going towards ivy mill road. Yeah, the cliffs I jump are located off of cockeys mill road - secluded from the outside world.

so you park on the left of the road in a little parking thing
i dont know which side of the bridge it is, but if you look to the left you'll see a sign that says "Danger? No, Swimming!"
so pretty much walk over the guard rail toward the sign and past it down a little concrete water drain thing
then turn left and youll see like a flat area
the cliffs are there
just look around
