sorry, but I just had to comment twice. The balls it takes to PAUSE and play or sing NOTHING in a song, waiting... it's just awesome. Most bands don't understand that allowing it to breathe makes it sound that much louder and bigger when you DO play and this song is just a textbook for that and all the other good songwriting/playing techniques that great players use to make great music. Name me ONE other song that says one word and nothing else for 3 beats? genius!

Huff has the most awesome guitar chops because he knows how to play fast and still sound clean and melodic. not many can pull it off even close to this. The snare drum in this.... just so much headroom and clarity. Too bad they didn't become more famous.

Originality is gone from today's music, everything nowadays is a copy of earlier decades like the 80s. Lady Gaga=Madonna, JayZ=Dr. Dre, Justin Bieber=New Kids on the Block, Beyonce=Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey, Maroon 5=Duran Duran, the list goes on. When originality along with soul is missing from music, then music is meaningless.

@MadBlueAlien There is room for all these types of music. Variety in art is one of the most beautiful mediums for communicating the human condition. I love rock, however sometimes I just want something meditative to move my body to. Something hardcore to take me out of my element in order to see something from another point of view. I do think that music is becoming a little to commercial. We'll just have to dig a little deeper for the authentic.
