Laser guided bombs and AGM-65 Maverick in FALCON 4.0 Allied Force

I'm probably missing something in the sequence that's really obvious... But whenever I use LGBs, I keep the FCR in STP submode, I hit laser, then bring up TGP, go to NARO view, curser around and hit 0...but then it randomly selects a target and is in "Point," completely skipping "Area." If you can help out, please respond.

whenever i do ramp start and takeoff and try to use a Laser Guided Bomb it says "not timed out" ....WTF i know im clicking the right buttons and master weapon switch and laser button is on???

my TGP gets messed up sometimes like its all green and i can't see a thing, any help. Also if you could quickly explain how to enable TFR that'd be great Thanks
