so disturbed in ny w/korn and sevendust.Mike had abig drumkit but icould not hear any tom rolls or cymbols. .ray from korn uses the same drum brand but his sounded great. iblame it on THE STICKS,drums or soundman.

Insted of un screwing the wing nut on your cymbal all you have to do is sleep on the skull as a nut to hold in your cymbal

@Miksumaakari Yes, they are wood. I think the skull holds the cymbal in place and comes on and off quicker than a normal wingnut.

@thelord575 his sticks are good. But if you dont want ur symbols to turn black when you play, get black sticks with white tips. Thats why i got the"Mike Wengren" sticks. and the paint wont get on your hands because they're made by "vater"who make high quality sticks

man 5A is like playing with chopsticks. 2B all the way

i started in a jazz/school band background and we played 5a's. then i got into some heavy metal/hard rock and i realized that i had to move up... i now use 5B it is a happy medium between 2B and A sized sticks.... mikey's sticks are between a 5b and 2b with great reach...

@Aheadstix85 Not necessarily, many of the drum shops and music stores in my area have stopped carrying them because they can damage your cymbals and their high price. Many Easton Ahead endorsers have also switched back to wood.... like joey jordison, matt sorum, and john tempesta. many endorsers also use wood in the studio....

Sabian. His crashes are mostly AA's with a couple APX's. Hi hats are HHX, splashes are AA, and his ride is AA.
