  • Could listen to this for hours straight!

  • Catchy tune and you do a great job! I've never heard it before but since I'm from Tennessee and have a gray cat I guess I'll have to learn it on my fiddle.

  • You are dead on this song! I just came from Kentucky Music Weekend and we played that song. I am just getting into my dulcimer. I posted "old joe clark" I am a very beginner please watch the vid and give me some playing advice. Thanks!

  • Now, this is beautiful music...!!

  • Nice job, Ken!

  • great sound! good work! i gotta get me one of those!

  • this is the way I learned the song too, realy nice job

  • Yep! DAdd capoed on the first fret is E minor. There's some good stuff for that in the tab section of the EverythingDulcimer website as well. :)

  • Is that a 1+ fret added to your fretboard? Does that come in handy quite often? I've always debated on getting that optional fret. Please record something in DAdd with that capo in the first fret for a minor tune! :)

  • Yep, that's a 1+. So far, I've only used it for playing a Cmaj chord (1,1+,3) when playing songs in the key of G. I'll work on the capo'd minor tune when I get a chance. I'm sure my Seifert book has a few tunes to try (that's E minor, right?).

  • Oh yeah, and thanks for subscribing!

  • I like that! I really enjoy your videos! Keep them coming!

  • Thanks! Stay tuned for more...

  • I'm working on some more...stay tuned. Thanks for the stars!

  • Very nice, I enjoyed the clip very much. Keep em coming!
