I think they just say "there were scheduling conflicts" when they don't want to say the real reason but apparently she was very upset when she wasn't allowed to reprise the role again. It bothers me everytime I think about it. She owned that role. =/

I agree that it was a terrible mistake and it could have been avoided. Summit should have just agreed to pay her more, and Rachael should have just focused on her career than how much money she was making. After all she was the perfect Victora. Bryce was not convincing as Victoria, she doesn't have that certain element. Summit sucks!
