This new M3 looks & sounds amazing! BMW did a great job with this car, both the coupe & sedan! I'm going to have to test drive one soon. I'm looking foward to that.

I'd highly recommend a test drive.  I took one out the other day. Quite a car to behold. I didn't like the light steering but that can be altered via the on-board gadgetry. I drive a 130i at present which feels more taut and chuckable, but demands a different driving style to the M3. I'm giving it serious consideration as my next car.

I live in the UK, we don't get very much weather extremes except a lot of rain and ice. The M3 is a brilliant specimen of car but I think it might be to unpractical for the price. Running costs would be similar I think. Decisions!

I'd use a tripod for the camera, and a real steady hand unlike the one shooting this. Pan & zoom also helps to add some action to the shot. In the editing, try and cut out bits inbetween maneuvers or moments. I.e. when the M3 is taking off, leaving the viewer to watch an empty landscape for 45 secs or so while for it to come back over the hill :)
