  • That Billy Beck is a BADDDDD MUTHA!!

  • awesome

  • Look Billy Beck is absoloutly killin' it ! Even tougher than the original. Is Billy back with the players or is he still with Zapp? I'm old school & a Dj I remember the other side of the single was Paint Me! Yeah! I never caught the Players Live. but I have seen Billy with Zapp 3 times.

  • sounds good tho

  • looks like he fuckin the keyboard

  • he's playing three distinctively different KEYBOARD parts! plus singing three different parts.............that's PURE GENIUS!!!!!!

  • Awesome!

  • i saw the ohio players with everyone except sugarfoot at the solano county fair in vallejo and they were wayyyyyyyyy better than this. billy here was playing and singing better with them too. they were probably the tightest thing i've ever seen, better than any rock band i've seen. i have seen a few videos of sugarfoot with his "new" ohio players and they just don't compare at all.

thanks for coming to vallejo billy and i hope you come down with the rest of the ohio players to norcal soon!

  • Billy Beck need to change synth immediatly, cuz its sound cheaper than cheap.

  • @radioshaolin you need to change your ears immediately ;)

  • CLASSIC!!

  • omg this rocks!!!!

  • like nine cans of shaving powder thats funky!

  • Anybody know what keyboard synth was used on the recording of Funky worm?

I know it wasn't this casio he's playing in the video.

  • @1200killer The original synth used in the 1972 recording was an Arp Prosoloist according to several sources on the web. It appears on this video that he's using the Yamaha Motif to do the worm sounds and the Casio to do the horns.

  • @NewShimmer For anyone who wants to experiment with the sounds of the Arp Prosoloist, there is a digital emulation of that synth called the Pro SoloVST. An English Company called AM music makes it. There's a free demo version, but the full version is only 25 GBP.
