  • laurie will you do a video explaining your camera and video editing set up?

  • Looks like you are about ready to go to Colorado with us!

  • @vmdirt I would love to! This little adventure ended up costing me my fork seals, though. Darn it.

  • @lauriejennifer

Yeah, if you come to Colorado we could ride together! haha.

  • "I love you" vroom!! I am going to try that! You're bike is just a bit tooooo super moto.... comfy rubber pegs, road tyres! You jus need a lil bit of Dirty bike in there!

  • But LJ inist there an Ocean or two between you and England?

  • You need some knobbies like my stock KLXS tires. Not even a second thought to a little creek crossing like that :)

  • Just to clarify... if I were there on my SV I'da hit it about 15-20mph... but I'm certified insane so.... that's not really saying much.

  • @dodgerider26 You also have a truck that you can drive to work if you and/or your bike were broken.

  • England as in, Country England? =O

    Not New England?

    England is amazing.

    Just like me. ;D

  • @CultureShockSix Yes, as in! Across to California, then through Hawaii, New Zealand, and Australia (obviously by freight, not massive hydroplane wheelies). Then across Asia and Europe to England.

Correction: England is ALMOST as amazing as you. :)

  • @lauriejennifer Awesomesauce. o3o

    D'aw shucks. I mean~ Yuh, i know right? ;D

  • In the 30s? Thats practically balmy woman.

Oh wait, stupid system of measurement.

    Continue.

  • @leapoffaith20 Ha, yeah. I should have clarified for all you guys who use kelvin or whatever. :-P

  • LJ's way: see video.

my way: See LJ's video 'Supermoto Splash!' in the video responces.

  • @tonythephatone I like to mix it up and try both ways. I'm getting too cautious in my old age. ;-)

  • Just remember LJ...God hates a Coward!!

  • @Jaladorm2000 If anything, it would be the fool, not the coward. "He is tender in mercies toward those that are afraid." :-)

  • Always better safe than sorry. :D

  • @RC62 There's a balance in there somewhere, but yup! :-)

  • I love you...brum brum LOL That just what she needed i guess

  • @bakker46 We give our machines such personality, don't we?

  • In all seriousness, you did everything right. 1. Come to obstacle. 2. Recce. 3. Take appropriate action. I'm sure there'll be many more obstacles on your world trip, diving in head first would be suicide. Well done, but go get some proper dirt bike time in - on some other persons proper dirt bike, you won't be sorry.

  • @MadStu Thanks, mate! The guy who taught me how to ride has a little 125 (4 stroke) Yammie that he said I'm more than welcome to learn/play on some more. I do plan on taking him up on that next spring. I'm sure he has it put away for the winter by now. Other training includes: saving my money, getting back into Parkour (for physical fitness), etc.

  • @lauriejennifer I've been getting paid to ride motorbikes on the road since I was 16, so I've covered hundreds of thousands, if not over a million miles on the road, but I only started dirt biking 2nd quarter of 2010 and it seriously improved my road riding - even after all that experience! Well worth it. And FUN!

  • Disappointed. Not one single lesbian getting killed in the whole movie.

  • @MadStu Your mom was totally in this!! How could you miss her?? I mean, she's HUGE! When I swerved to avoid hitting her, I ran out of gas!

  • LJ you wouldn't get your foot pegs muddy if you would just ride your SUPERMOTO bike across the tiny stream! But at least you admit to being a whiny baby pee-pants (oh and a girl). :-)

In seriousness though, really like watching you ride and listening to you ramble. Looking forward to the next installment.

  • @kd7svh I've seen videos of friends having pretty nasty spills when their front tire slipped out from under them on mossy rocks. And, yeah, I was not feeling particularly brave that day. :-/ Next installment should be up tomorrow! :)

  • @lauriejennifer I was only giving you a hard time. Your concern for being a safe rider is very commendable.

  • @kd7svh Thanks, mate! Yeah, fun is fun, but crashing sucks. Knowing your limits and only stretching yourself out of your comfort zone when you feel the time is right to do so = win. Alone in the woods with no help is enough risk by itself. I decided to not add reckless riding to the mix. I have very limited offroad experience.

  • LOL should've wheelied through it! =oP

  • @nastyevilninja Next time! lol

  • If you watch long way round they had to cross some big river not creeks. But keep your dream and one day you'll make it happen. Loved the video.

  • @azwakko Funny thing is, I've crossed creeks deeper and more epic than this. Ergo the mocking title. I really do want to ride around the world on this KLX, though. West to Cali, freight to Hawaii, freight to New Zealand, freight to Australia, freight up to Asia, and ride all the way across to London. I anticipate it would take a couple years and a lot of money. I would need to get work visas along the way.

  • how is the bike running?? did u ever fix the problem??

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX It's running okay. The pilot jet is too lean. I have the jet, but not the tools or know-how. Dodgerider26 has offered to help me swap out the jet and tune the carb this coming weekend. Video will happen! The lean jet=hard starting and a flat spot in acceleration at the transition from pilot jet to needle.

  • @lauriejennifer are you gonna change the needle while u in there also??

  • @XxKingoveKingsxX Needle doesn't need it. It's set properly. It's the transition from the pilot (too lean) to the needle (not lean) that's making the flat spot.

  • Great video !! Thanks LJ . Keep the coming !

  • @MuzzleMike Thanks, mate! Working on the next video as we speak... er... type. LOL

  • 7th I think. Instead of riding threw the creek next time jump it lol

  • @WildBill1006 I'm running out of fingers and I'm wearing socks. And jump it? Why didn't I think of that? Of course! Hehe

  • Are those Hippo Hands? If not what have you got on your handle bars there. I've been running my Gerbing gloves and an Aerostich bib on my KLX, toasty...

  • @mugwump58 Same idea, but not the same brand. Hippo Hands are to "handlebar mitts" as Kleenex is to "facial tissue." Just a household name, but there are many different brands. These are made by Quad Boss. I've been happy with them. I can get away with my summer mesh gloves even though it's hovering around freezing.

  • Fifth

  • @ToastToGo :)

  • @ToastToGo You rock, toast.

  • BTW your videos inspired me to start riding. i'm looking into getting my first bike soon.

  • @CowPuncher9000 That's awesome! I wish you the best on your journey into the world of two-wheels. :-)

  • Oo! Oo! THIRD!

  • Second haha

  • First

  • @rynoride Always! <3
