@Cogskate Thank you. It will be uploaded to the Supporter's Area once it's done. It's the place where I keep the scores/tabs of many of my arrangements and it is offered to those who purchased my CDs as to show my appreciation.
the thing I enjoyed most about this performance was how much you were enjoying yourself doing the playing. I mean isnt that the paramount purpose of being a musician? Enjoying the craft as we play.
I'm curious how many of these wonderful pieces you can keep in your memory at one time. I love how flawlessly you perform, but it must be tough to keep a lot of songs "under your fingers" all the time. Do come to the States sometime and play!
To be honest, I don't know how I keep all these songs. I remember arrangements as roads to places. When you go to somewhere, you don't remember every houses you pass by. You remember as a way. I am planning to visit US next year somewhere around Spring.
I haven't written this out yet. Some others are available to those who supported me bt ordering my CDs. I need some push to keep on. I hope you understand.
Hello Hiroshi. Very nice playing thank you and lovely arrangements. What pickup have you got in that guitar? Also I've been on your site and don't see any transcription/sheet music for sale. Do you have the score or tab for sale there?
I've always enjoyed you music and thank you for it. I humbly submit that you've made a mistake in this arrangement. The song is arranged in groups of 5 in common time, 5 measures for the verses and 15 measures for the chorus. I think that you may have ommitted a repeat of measure 10 or 11 (take your pick) in the chorus. I noticed this when I tried to sing along, as it's one of my favorite tunes.
Again, I have only the highest regard for your output and virtuosity.
Thank you for telling me. This is what happens when I play totally from memory. I will go over when I decide to include this in future CD. Also, going half step up in the middle is something I would like to tackle.
I started to play guitar because my mother wanted me to take guitar lessons, so I took classical lessons for a year and half or so. But I hated it at that time. I wanted spend more time with friends. So I think of myself as a self-taught player.
I swear....you can make any melody sound better....great arrangement....great finger picking....just an all-around great talent! I've always enjoyed Dionne sing this song....and now I have this too! Thank you Hiroshi.....
I'll be thinking of this tune soon when I'll be traveling through Northern California. I'm proud to live in this state. Thanks for playing this tune its an awesome arrangement__Chris
Thank you. I was moving from Osaka to Yokohama that day but I was fortunate to get to Yokohama almost on time. Not many injured with that earthquake since that area was well prepared for the bigger one.
As always Hiroshi, your arrangements and playing is just perfect-o. I can really hear the vocalist in how you bring out the melody.
In guitar camp sessions at Swan Gathering, Michael Chapdelaine stressed to us that that was THE most important aspect of arranging CH melody solos of pop tunes.
Muy bueno.

All scores I made are in both standard notation and tabs, some of the rest are only in tabs. My mother past away on July 10th.

Hiroshi,
You never say how you got to where you are now. You just say you been "playing for 30 years, nothing special."
You must have at least had some classical training, right? So wouldn't you recommend us beginners/intermediates out there to take classical lessons?
