  • Nice video and thanks for posting but might that be a Golden Trout with the spots and the faint red streak down the side? I thought Gilas were almost "albino"

  • So is this in AZ or NM... Didn't think you could fish Gila anywhere in AZ but Frye? Nice Vid!

  • i love fishing in stream pools

  • Great times, love catch'in rare trout. Brookies in SC. Bulls in NV.

  • Man the trout in AZ sure know how to spit a fly ehhh :D

  • love there big dark eyes

    great fish

  • Nice video!

  • That's a beautiful trout! Great job!

  • It is illegal to fish in Little Creek above the barrier.

  • This was in Iron Creek, about 2 weeks after it became legal to fish for these wonderful creatures.

  • And by the way, there are plenty of rather large gilas below the barrier in Little Creek. The problem is getting to them before they are spooked (the resident browns signal the alarm). Good luck!

  • Thanks for posting the video on Gila Trout. I would say that may be the rarest trout that you can target in the U.S. Don't let the uneducated fools who commented on fish size bring you down. They would be much happier catching a 15" hatchery rainbow. I for one really appreciate your video, good work on the one handed camera work. I went all the way down to the White Mt.s for Apache Trout recently. I can't wait to go back. Way to go!

  • Nice fish lmfao

  • What creek is that? It looks very lush and green. You must have been pretty high up. Thanks for sharing.

  • Sweet video! Nice work on the Gila.
